Welcome to another edition of pBooks, where I talk about the latest book, short story, bit of prose I have read and would love to share out with you fine wanderers. This time around I have a short story by Paul Elard Cooley, the Fiend Master himself, titled Momma. If you look over on the right side of the page in the blog roll, you will see a link to Shadow Publications, that is Mr. Cooley and that is where you can get all the cool stuff, including Momma and some cool podcasts and all kinds of goodies. But, let us take a look at Momma today..
This my friends, is an excellent story and I really enjoyed it. It is a story of a letter, written by a son to his momma on their birthday. A nice letter to the momma he loves and all seems normal. Then with a good, slow build up, Mr. Cooley takes us right into the truly terrifying. If you like a good story with a nice, horrifying end, well then, just cruise on over to smashwords and get a copy for free. Yeah, can you believe it? I said free, no kidding. Go here and snag a copy. Here is a brief description from the page.

It's a really great read, very unlike a lot of horror I have been reading recently. Great review.
