Bikinis on Tap

So yesterday I was talking to this guy who needed service transferred to his new rental home. It is part of what I do. It is Friday afternoon, feeling tired in an unremarkable day when this guy comes on the line. Made my day.

He says, and I paraphrase a bit...

'Dude, this cool dude I know is shacking with his princess so he rents me his house on the lake. I need juice man, can ya trans my service?'

I say sure...

'Dude, you should see this place, its freakin sweet. On the lake Dude. Chicks everywhere, in BIKINIS.'

Trying to maintain professionalism, I say sounds nice, and proceed to walk him through the process.

'Whoa Dude, hang on ,my buddy is checking this princess...(to his buddy..Bro I see that, thats what I'm talkin bout) ... Dude you should check it bro! I'm talking sweet, Dude.'

I make some kinda positive noise, ya know, I am The Dude, so gotta be cool, and continue on, trying not laugh, but smiling cause this 'dude' is hilarious..

So I continue on whilst Dude-on-the-Phone is checking princesses in bikinis and he says..

'Dude I am talking freakin awesome, its like.. Bikinis on Tap!'

There is some major static and.. then the call drops...uh oh Poppa Smurf. So I try to ring him back, no luck. So I gotta move on, sorry dude we didn't complete the request... Bummer cause he was fun to talk to.

I am still chuckling over that one.. the 'dude' was cool and in my warped sense of humor.. I thought..

Man, that would be a great title for a Frankie & Annette movie from the sixties*... beaches, bikinis and a 'dude'. I am still smiling over that connection..

Some days, the 'dude' is cool.. makes the day go smoother right?
