Superficial Gallery Surfing Safari

I have been hanging out at Superficial Gallery for quite awhile now and its groovy. After a recommendation from my friend Beans, I surfed over and checked em out. I have been pestering them ever since.

The point of posting this up is the site is awesome and I like to share in my wanderings. How to explain the site and the coolness? Well.. there are some awesome articles there that will make you laugh, maybe even lol or even, on occasion, lmao. There is always something to crack me up. Oh and there is lots of celebrity pics and the like if you wanna see that kind of thing. There have been a few spreads that were pure cool, like the American Flag Girls.

I also happen to know a few of the writers and even the new guy, Paddy(hey I know this guy) just posted an article over there. Hopefully the new guy will have more stuff coming down the pipe. There are some talented folks running the show and contributing cool content. Check it out. Oh and the site is NSFW(not safe for work). In other words, the language and content is on the adult side, maybe thinking along the lines of R rated?

Anywho, give em some click love and check it out, it is a pretty fun site. Tell em the crazy wanderer pointed you in their direction.

Pop Army

The excitement keeps rolling along folks. I have had the pleasure of writing a couple articles so far for Pop Army. Check it out at this link. The site has news and reviews, celeb stuff. Kinda got it all from the world of entertainment. They live blogged the Emmy Awards. And.. that is just the beginning.

I have been able to do recaps for Leverage. Man I am in heaven here folks. I can dish and gush and get all googly moogly about a TV show I love. This is the good stuff. Of course, now we gotta wait until December for new episodes, but thats cool, there is plenty of TV floatin around that I watch.

This is just the very start and I am excited to be able to tag along with some really talented folks. I love TV and movies and all that so this is the kinda thing I dig. Movie reviews, previews, TV stuff and all that jazz. Should be a whole lot of fun.

Check it out, this week is the True Blood DVD giveaway. I have no doubt that more goodies like that will be coming down the path. This is an exciting time and right at the ground floor of the site starting out. So much coming along, If you would be so kind, take a look, see what you can see. I think you'll like it.

Kid Wonderful

Monday was the launch of Kid Wonderful and I am pretty excited. Okay, I am very excited! This is an awesome opportunity for me. I get to write articles and blog and ramble on about kids. Kids are one of my favorite subjects!

You may not know this so I will let you in on the not so secret, secret. I loved being a kid. I love reading to kids and playing cars and building stuff with blocks. I am still a big kid really. I have been fighting the whole growing up thing for a long time. I have enjoyed having kids and I am going to enjoy being a grandfather. Kids really are wonderful.

I get to work with some truly awesome parents who are very creative, hard working people. Together, I believe we can fill a website with some informative, entertaining, and most of all, fun stuff. To get a chance to do this kind of thing is exciting. I am grateful for the chance and look forward to the opportunity.

Where is my Fedora?

Today I started down a path I had never imagined, not really. I have started doing freelance work. Have keyboard, will write for hire is the new motto. I will grant you, it is but a baby step, but it is, none the less, a step forward. In an effort to experience as much as possible and wander into every nook and cranny, I thought freelance work might be just the ticket. Today, I got a ticket.

I have donned my hat, put on my gray suit and pinned my press pass into the inner coat pocket. I just need an office in the seedy side of town, a girl Friday to type in the front room, a pack of smokes and my name on the door. Sounds kind of like a private detective, but Depression Era cops, reporters, and private dicks are right up my alley, shweet heart.

I am gonna have fun with it, see what happens. I will be writing articles as a book examiner for examiner.com and you can check out my page here. I should have a book review or new release announcement just about every day. I will also be covering other events like book signings or library events throughout the Flint and Tri-City area.
